Shane Lewis Cansdell-Sherriff, born on November 10, 1982, is a former professional footballer from Australia. He began his career at Leeds United after being scouted while playing for the New South Wales academy team. In the 2006-07 season, he joined Tranmere Rovers after impressing manager Ronnie Moore on trial and was appointed club captain. Cansdell-Sherriff later moved to Shrewsbury Town in 2008, where he made over 150 appearances during his five-year tenure. His successful career also included stints at clubs like Burton Albion, Preston North End, and Rochdale AFC. Additionally, he represented the Australian national team.
